It’s by no sort of fluke that the Vauxhall Astra is one of the most popular cars ever built. You’ll find it all over the world. Here in the UK we know it with a Vauxhall badge. Across Europe it’s got an Opel badge. In the Americas and Asia, it’s a Chevrolet. In Australia and New Zealand, it’s a Holden. 

Why is it so popular?

It's simple. The Astra is good to drive, well equipped, roomy and with a perfect blend of performance and economy. To refer to the Astra as being ‘sensible motoring’ is a massive understatement.

There’s loads of interior room too. Put it this way, if you need the Vauxhall Astra to be both a Monday-Friday commuter mobile and a weekend family runabout, it’ll quickly become part of the family. The boot is one of the biggest in the family hatchback class. 

As for the specifications, you get the aforementioned sat nav plus parking sensors, heated front seats, Bluetooth, DAB radio and a really smart colour touchscreen. To be honest there’s nothing else you’d really ask for.
