Wagonex — Customer Terms & Conditions

1.1 wagonex.com (the Site) is operated by Wagonex Limited ("Wagonex", "we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales under company number 10312289, with registered office at Tramshed Tech, Pendyris Street, Cardiff, CF11 6BH. Our VAT number is 256 9599 39.

1.2 Wagonex is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under firm reference number 789510. You can check this on the FCA register at register.fca.org.uk.

1.3 These Customer Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with Wagonex when you use the Site to browse vehicles, request quotes, and apply for a vehicle lease. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, and with the separate Terms of Website Use.

2. Definitions

• Vehicle Lease / Agreement — the Contract Hire or leasing agreement you enter into for a vehicle, provided by a Supplier or funder.
• Supplier — the third-party vehicle provider or funder who supplies the vehicle and enters into the Vehicle Lease with you.
• Quote — an indicative price provided in response to your enquiry, subject to acceptance, credit approval and availability.
• Consumer / you — an individual using the Site for purposes wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession.

3. Our role — marketplace and credit broker

3.1 Wagonex operates an online marketplace that lets you browse and select vehicles offered for lease by third-party Suppliers, and introduces you to those Suppliers and to finance providers.

3.2 Wagonex acts as a credit broker, not a lender. We do not provide the finance or the vehicle ourselves. The Vehicle Lease is a contract between you and the Supplier / funder, on the Supplier's / funder's own terms.

3.3 You choose the vehicle and package yourself from what is available on the Site (a browse-and-select model). We do not give personal recommendations or advice on which vehicle or finance product is right for you. 

4. Eligibility and your account

4.1 To apply for a vehicle you must be at least 18, resident in the UK, and able to enter into a legally binding contract.

4.2 You are responsible for keeping your account details and password secure and for activity under your account.

5. Browsing, quotes and pricing

5.1 Vehicle availability, specifications and prices shown on the Site are provided by Suppliers and can change. We take reasonable care to keep information accurate but do not warrant that it is always complete or error-free.

5.2 A Quote is indicative and does not amount to an offer or a guarantee of finance. It is subject to availability, Supplier approval and a successful credit and identity assessment.

5.3 The cost breakdown shown at checkout includes your first payment.

6. Applying for a vehicle

6.1 When you apply, we and/or the Supplier will carry out checks including identity verification, credit checks and fraud-prevention checks, using third-party providers. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

6.2 If a Supplier declines your application, the decision rests with the Supplier / funder. We will tell you the outcome but may not be able to give the detailed reasons behind a lender's credit decision.

7. Finance and the Vehicle Lease

7.1 If your application is approved, you will enter into the Vehicle Lease directly with the Supplier / funder. You will be provided with the Supplier's own terms and conditions  for the vehicle and package you have selected — please read these carefully before you commit.

7.2 Wagonex is not a party to the Vehicle Lease and is not responsible for the vehicle, its supply, its condition, or the Supplier's performance of that agreement, except to the extent of our own regulated activities as credit broker.

8. Insurance

8.1 Where insurance is arranged, you are responsible for giving accurate information and for reviewing the insurer's policy documents, including cover, exclusions and cancellation terms.

9. How we are paid (commission)

9.1 We receive commission from Suppliers, funders or insurers when you take out a product through us.
